Summary

This site collects as little as possible. There are no advertising trackers, no third party analytics, and no cookies at launch. The only data this site touches is described below.

Preference storage on your device

The theme selector and font size selector store your choices in your browser's localStorage under the keys revisualized_theme and revisualized_font_size. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to the server, and identifies nothing about you. Storage of this kind is strictly functional (it exists only to honor the preference you set) and therefore does not require a consent banner. Clearing your browser storage removes it completely.

The connect form

If you send a message through the connect form, the name, email address, and message you provide are emailed to the site owner and used for exactly one purpose: reading and, where warranted, replying to your message. The originating IP address is included in that email and is used only for abuse handling. The form requires an explicit, unchecked consent box before submission. Form data is not added to mailing lists, shared with third parties, or used for profiling.

To request deletion of a message you previously sent, contact the site owner through the same form or on LinkedIn and it will be removed from the mailbox.

Server logs

The hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard web server logs, which can include your IP address, requested URL, and browser user agent. These logs exist for security and operational troubleshooting and rotate on the host's standard schedule.

Analytics

No analytics run on this site at launch. If privacy respecting, self hosted analytics are added later, this policy will be updated first and the tooling will be configured without cross site tracking.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the European Union General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because this site stores almost nothing, exercising those rights is usually as simple as asking: use the connect page.
