Commitment

This site targets Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AAA contrast (7:1) wherever the cost is negligible, with Level AA (4.5:1) as the hard floor everywhere. Every text and background token pair in all three themes is verified by an automated contrast script that runs against the actual stylesheet values, including translucent surfaces composited over their real backgrounds.

• Three color themes (dark, light, monochrome) plus a system option that follows your operating system preference.
• A three step font size control that scales the entire layout, since all sizing is rem based.
• Full keyboard operability: visible focus indicators are never suppressed, the mobile menu traps focus while open and returns it on close, and a skip link jumps directly to the main content.
• Motion is reduced to effectively zero for visitors whose system requests reduced motion.
• Semantic structure throughout: one h1 per page, landmarks, and labeled interactive controls.
• Syntax highlighted code blocks inherit the active theme's verified contrast tokens rather than shipping a fixed palette, so highlighting stays readable in all three modes.

Known limitations

Image slots currently show placeholder graphics while final imagery is produced. Those placeholders are marked decorative and hidden from assistive technology, and final images will ship with descriptive alternative text.
